SAN DIEGO COUNTY —- California Highway Patrol officers made 108 DUI arrests in San Diego County during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, down from 128 during the same period last year, the CHP reported Sunday morning.

HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY— Police officers charge a Blair County man with almost running over officers. Police said the driver of a blue Audi sped through the DUI Checkpoint Friday night almost hitting four officers.

BOISE - The 2008 numbers for DUI arrests in Southwest Idaho are shaping up to be double the average of the last five years. Idaho State Police say the average number of DUI arrests from 2003 to 2007 was 294.
