By informing police of his intentions to get back behind the wheel following a late-night DUI stop Monday, a Carlisle man quickly picked up his second drunk driving arrest within hours in Middlesex Township.

For The Bristol Press PLAINVILLE — Police are scheduled to operate a sobriety checkpoint on Route 372 from 7:30 p.m. today until 2:30 a.m. Saturday as part of the state’s Comprehensive DUI Enforcement Program. All drivers entering the checkpoint will be required to briefly stop and answer questions.

A 47-year-old Hamilton man is facing his sixth DUI since 1982. Jay H. Noffsinger was arraigned by substitute Ravalli County Justice Court Judge Jennifer Ray Monday on a charge of felony driving under the influence.

Ohio State tailback Bo DeLande was charged with DUI yesterday after a traffic stop on Tuesday, court records show. The incident occurred at N. High St. and W. 11th Ave. DeLande, 20, was pulled over for making an illegal left turn. Given a breath test, his blood-alcohol level was measured at .133. In Ohio, the legal limit is .08.
